My first blog. I have been wanting to keep a journal of the LORD's work in my life. I thought, as a computer geek, what better place to do that than a blog.
I'm going to do a little bit of catch up first. I have just finished my first year in seminary and have seen the LORD do some amazing things. I saw HIM work in just getting us here to Missouri. I seen HIM work in getting my wife out here. I saw HIM work in providing places to stay while we were selling our house in West Virginia. I saw HIM teach this family patience and longsuffering. I saw HIM teach us how to better trust in HIM. I saw HIM work to sell our house. I saw HIM work in allowing us to get a new house $20,000 below appraisal. These are just a few things the LORD has done over the last year.
For the last week, my wife and I have been praying for money to get new tires for our car. The tires we are looking at getting are going to cost just over $300 (installed and with road hazard.) We had $100 we could put toward the tires. My wife said she wanted to use some birthday money she had gotten from her mom. So that left a little over $200. We got a check in the mail today for $219 and some change. Praise the LORD. This check came from where we sold our house and had paid too much escrow that was used for house insurance. What a GOD we serve.
